Odd.. both Polaris 6x6 and the pictured Can-am T1000 cost about 17-18k here in Finland. On Polaris you get 4 accessories included in that price (e.g. winch, snow plow, etc.)

The Polaris 6x6 is only built with one engine but I'd guess they might offer "a package" for more $$ with a few accessories. They cost quite a but less than our Outlander max did. We didn't even consider one because our machine has 1/3 more HP, power assist steering, larger stator etc etc..

Doing trail work this week on a trail we maintain. This is in the UP of MI. These are hike, bike and ski trails.

The national forest is not open for general motor vehicle use which includes snowmobiles. In Michigan private property falls into the same rules. These blue blazes are only used on non-motorized trails.

you say 5000$ for the trailer. It was around $3000

you say 18000$ for the 6x6. Its was around 24K (a few accessoires added at that price)

you say 5000$ for the snow kit. I assume you mean the pods or tracks which are $6700

you say 3000$ for the sand level kit
you say 3000$ for the ski track plow/level/thingy

Are the above items the same thing?? The drag that was pictured was 5K
The roller was another 2K

Thanks for the update. I'd figure that at least I was in the ballpark though bit low Meybe stuff is cheaper here in Finland

I went up to mount Washington last year with the Ranger and at the summit they have a multi-screen POV of what it's like operating a trail maintenance plow navigating through various weather conditions. Some great pictures! Any special licensing or certifications to operate such machinery?
