My best friend purchased a new '85 Yugo and drove it for 7 years with no major issues, lol.

Hard to believe I know but we hung out all the time back then so he couldn't get anything past me .
He tried to get me to drive it a few times and I always said I would not be seen in the passenger side much less the drivers seat :) He had just been promoted to the editor of the small town newspaper when he bought it and was proud of that thing being so cheap.
