Hard to believe I know but we hung out all the time back then so he couldn't get anything past me .
He tried to get me to drive it a few times and I always said I would not be seen in the passenger side much less the drivers seat He had just been promoted to the editor of the small town newspaper when he bought it and was proud of that thing being so cheap.
