Can you add struts if you want, or is the appropriate hardware and anchor points deleted too?

I will be very interested in hearing what you decide on the tires. I am also not a huge fan of the General Grabbers, but I don't have a lot of recent experience with other comparable tires. The Grabbers do toss a lot of gravel, and they are the loudest part of the truck on the highway for sure.

You know Mark so far I kind of like them (besides all the rocks it throws) and I might just keep them. If I change them out it would be back to the Toyo OC AT3's I had just put on my '19. Those were super quiet but I really don't think these are that noisy.

Safe travels Dave. You may get a dash warning to keep both hands on the wheel. I know this will cause arm fatigue. May I suggest at rest stops, get out and work the tailgate up and down, up and down. it worked for me prior to dampening.

I did get that darn warning several times. I opened the tailgate and it slammed down and scared the crap out of me too! Only good thing is I'll build up a little more muscle mass before installing my damper on Friday. Then it's back to this.

What is your average cruising speed? My Ranger has the Tremor tires and wheels on it. I have to go from Phoenix to Tuscon this weekend, which is mostly flat. I'll bet I average between 20 - 21 mpg cruising at 75 to 80 mph. I don't know if it is may Ranger, or my driving habits, but it has never got good fuel economy from day one. It is better than my 2011 Tacoma got, but not by much. BTW. the cruise control will be heavily used driving down to Tucson. Also, I am well aware that the speedo is @ 3% off due to my larger tires.

Jim the first day I was trying to fluctuate it from 55-80 as best I could. Even today I did that for another couple hundred miles then once I hit 500 miles I stayed between 70-80. I haven't hand calculated it yet but on my last fill up I still had 1/3 of a tank and it was reading 24.8mpg and when I filled it it said 465 miles to E. There was some pretty good mountain passes leaving OR into ID too so this is way better than I thought for not even broke in yet.
