So recently I went ahead and got myself an Australian Swag(don't ask me why they call it that). I will have a review of it soon as I do have a trip or two planned soon.

That said I can already say you get what you pay for with it!! The company does provide great customer service. The quality of the tent is very nice and with the color I chose(Storm) it blocks out enough light to where you can sleep in if you want.

It's just a King single Wich is about a Twin XL Mattress in size comparison. In other color options you can get a double (Queen size) but if it's just yourself then a single will be more than enough.

Here are a few pictures so far set up and stored. Probably going to have in inside the vehicle unless I have passengers.

I am actually looking at getting an ezup vantage to supplement my ARB awning tent. I am over messing with tarps in rainy weather for keeping base camp cooking and lounging area dry. lol

For what you get I feel it is a good price. Some may think differently but in general it is considered an all weather type tent and it is the fraction of the cost of a Roof Top Tent(a good one at least). Also weighs much less. Only 30 lbs on the single.

exactly I am to old to sleep on the ground and like a nice shower (or a swim) first thing in the morning to wake up with.

Well I finally have an update of sorts.

Let's just say that expenses sometimes get in the way at the wrong times too often. Due to that I decided to kick myself out of the house for a night.

Something to note is the tent does have its own Mattress of sorts. It is about 2.75 inches thick and it's that basic foam that you would put on your bed. Better than nothing, but definitely can be better. I brought my own pillows from the bedroom and used a basic sleeping bag for the night. Being in the low 60's to high 50's at night I had to open the end windows all the way left the outer canvas on one side unzipped(but still laying down). Once that was done I was comfortable for the night.

Once I change out the mattress I think I will be set with it.

Do I think the purchase was worth it? I do even though the mattress could be better.

Would it be better if I had a Roof Top Tent? If I had a place to store it when not needed and it wasn't so heavy then maybe, but for how I have the setup for this vehicle planned I'll stick with the Swag Tent.

Is it worth it for you? Well if you want a tent that doesn't let light in and will help you stay warm without a.bunch of extra layers then absolutely. If you don't necessarily want to be on the ground but don't mind setting up a cot to lay this on then it's a good idea too.

If you prefer to have a Roof Top Tent or a camper trailer then go that route instead
