Oh man. Welcome to AZ. My late parents lived in Tucson for 18 years and I nearly got hit every time I drove down (although to be fair someone else also nearly got hit every time my mom or dad got behind the wheel). The backwards operating traffic/left turn lights downtown are a trip also.

Wow. 11 pages in 15 hours. I guess I wont be reading them all, but I'm glad you're ok dave. Well as okay as you ever were, considering all the damper hucksterism and chicanery and 303 bamboozlery you've pushed on all the innocent truck owners of this forum:sunglasses:
Thanks Jim! I briefly saw that you sold your ranger and got your dads Sierra. Hope it's treating you well and I'll have to check out your threads on it. Now you'll have to buy even more 303 products since the truck is bigger than the Ranger. See, I'm always thinking ahead! ?

Glad you're OK and back! There's always new materials things to replace the old material things but the people and memories are what are important..
Read the thread last night but was too tired to post, came back this morning after thinking of a few funny things to say and Duke stole my thunder. Was going to recommend you check out Hyundais and Nissans as replacements.
I poked Tracy and Paul about parking while you were out but left the 303 and dampers to others. I was beginning to go bananas thinking something I posted caused you to quit. ?

Had a similar incident where my wife swerved to miss a guy turning left in front of her. She hit a curb and stop sign damaging the front end of the Fusion. Guy got out and apologized saying he didn't see her. While waiting for the police for a report, the guys son shows up. Police arrive and the guys story is now that he was waiting to make a left turn and my wife just hit the sign for no reason. No witnesses stuck around and our insurance ended up paying. Cost deductible and rise in rates. Told my wife next time hit the old bastard.

Anyway, nice to have you back!

Thanks Steve! I'm still getting a 5G, the 6G doesn't go into production until August. I was shocked to see how much they stripped off since the last time I was there. I guess they need to look at every little area to see the extent of the damage. I know Wednesday he said the bed was off and it might be in two different areas when I got there but they must have found time to reattach it.

The spare is a Nitto which matched my old tires. I have no idea why it's on there because the other one wasn't flat. Maybe they damaged more stuff to get the numbers higher. lol
Thanks Paul! I will miss the Saber color the most but unfortunately it was such a great color they discontinued it. ? I have a deposit on white Tremor now and just waiting for the final paper work to go through. There wasn't a lot of choices out there for what I wanted but I do like white so I'm good with it.

One dealer in CO has a blue one in transit but it's ETA is May 21st and I can't wait that long. Besides, I'd never hear the end of it from you know who.?
. You should have gotten eruption green. There are still some out there. I think I am the only one on here that has one. And it is the best color. Certainly beats white all to hell and back ?
This whole thing really sucks. On so many levels. But bottom line you are ok. And got lucky enough to find a '23! When I started reading this I immediately thought "oh hell, he'll never find a '23 at this point!"

Really glad it's all working out for you. But sorry you had to endure the bs.

Sorry the new Tremor is missing something. But good luck with it anyway.
:giggle:
. There are actually a fair number of them out there. And most can be shipped to you.

The wheels and axles on these trucks pop off easily it seems.

Anytime I see a wrecked ranger, 9/10 times a wheel is broken off.
Whats worse is it's not a solid replacement. You have to strip the parts (if they're good) off the old one to the new one. They said the unknown internal damage could easily be $2k-$3K on the axle alone.

There was one in CO in stock but (no offense) I'm not a fan of green unless it's money. ? Besides it's so dark it'll constantly be dirty here with all the dust we have in the air. I'd rather just get a black one at that point.

I'm not taking any chances shipping right now. After seeing all the damage from shippers lately I'll make the trip myself.

It's pretty f'ed axles are easily damaged too.

Not long ago you'd have to really try to damage those things... Now a days you hop a curb may as well kiss your driveline and suspension goodbye.

Been away a while, but I stumbled on this post.
Man, that sucks Dave I know it hurts to see your truck like that but at the end of the day, it's a mechanical thing and glad you came out in one piece.
Now...my crystal ball reveals a brand new Frontier in your future......
KIDDING!
Good luck with whatever you choose in the future.
By the way, I noticed from your pics those driveshaft splines look bone-dry man, not good......

Crikey! I just saw this thread and OMG!!!

First, glad you're okay,
Two, I can't even imagine how mad you must have been with the kids coming out and lying.
Three, relieved you're okay! Phew, my wallet's been getting fat without you on the forum and it's making my back hurt when I sit, but now I'll be getting great advice again on what I need to buy.
Fourth, glad to see you still have some damper humor left (I'd been tempted to pull off the damper and beat them with it).
Fifth, make sure to crawl under and remove any rocker hole plugs you may have installed.

Don't forget all the hood weatherstripping! =p

And to think, this morning I was stressing about the bird crap on Soupie from street parking yesterday. This kind of put that in perspective!

Plus some really great guy advised me on using graphene and the poop washed right off.

Can't wait to see you with your new truck so you can put all of this in the rear view mirror of life!

Glad you're good!

lol I was lurking here and there and saw some of these. I know Mark bought the Santa Cruz but it was a good deal for him considering what happened to their Kona. Now the side steps I didn't know about and certainly not something I'd mention. :lipssealed:

My main concern was that Tracy @Tracy Bowman and Paul @OrangeStreak both learned how to park. I don't think I could've come back from something so devastating as that! :surprised:o_O
Glad we didn’t disappoint!?

it's actually not as dark as it looks but yeah. I get you on that. it does show dirt and dust and pollen and whatever else happens to be in the air.

I also get you on the shipping. when I bought the mustang in my avatar I was in Iraq an I flew my now wifey out to North Carolina to pick it up and drive it back to Texas. it sat in my garage for 4 months before I ever laid eyes on it outside of pics
