that was the least offensive way I could reference a group of feminine men that live in the concrete hell most people call home. The same ones I read about measuring which side of their bumper is higher than the other and all that stupid crap.

Naw, it is in relation to speed, it gets louder when decelerating, being loudest at about 5-20mph it started immediately when the transmission shifting issues started. Im not very smart but I believe the torque converter can cause funky shifting if the pump is starting to go bad.

Have you checked your Bud Light?

A lot of trucks came underfilled from the factory. It's a pain to check but I'd start there.

Yeah. Mine runs on Yuengling. It was just right. If it had about 6 less gears that would be fine with me.

I agree with that. Every Toyota I owned was held together with rust and a little luck.

Definitely not a Toyota guy thanks to the oh so lovely engineering they do. I'm more of a Nissan Guy myself. That said I did enjoy my 2019 while I had it. I took it to quite a few different places Off-road here in Colorado. The only issues I had was the warped HVAC Distribution Box and the torn shift boot. That's it. Overall it was a good truck in my opinion. Definitely a truck that gives you the Best Bang For Your Buck type of vehicle.

Not sure how the 2.3/10spd is handling hauling around the weight of people's balls that take brand new trucks off road like that.....

I'd drive an old POS for that sort of work. My 2wd Ranger is a pavement princess with some extra power from the LMS tune to silently scoot away from rice rockets that think I am stock.

Thanks for having me on the forum folks. Hope to learn from it in the future.
I have a 2021 with 22k miles on it. I have an extensive Toyota pickup background as that’s all I’ve ever owned. Most of them got me several hundred thousand miles, but with the recent economy situation and the price of Toyotas these days I bit the bullet and bought a ranger.

All of my driving is off-road in the mountains where I live, except for the occasional trip into town or a road trip. So far the Ranger doesn’t seem to be holding up well to the abuse I put my vehicles through but I hope that I’m wrong and it’s just coincidental.

So far these are the problems I have:
Radio and touch screen have quit working completely.
Interior lights will no longer cut off by using the switch, I have to disconnect my battery of the evening.
I have a bad wheel bearing starting to roar.
The truck was stuck in 3rd gear for several hours one day while I was on a hunting trip. Finally it came out.
Now there is a loud electronic “whirring” noise somewhere under the truck while at a constant low speed.

All these problems are very concerning to me considering I have a $35k truck with low miles. I have an appointment with the closest Ford dealer in 5 weeks, they are all booked up I reckon.

Are these trucks made for urbanized city dwellers and hairless men? Or can they take a beating? I’m starting to have my doubts. Hope yaw have a good sense of humor.

For the interior lights problem, try pushing in on each light one time only, and see if that solves the problem.

It’s just a truck. I’ll run it till it dies and buy another one. It’s always easy after that first scratch ?

I have. The problem is when I open my door in the morning for the first time and the lights come on, they won’t cut off no matter if I press the lights themselves or the switch. I have to disconnect the battery for them to cut off. It’s a pain in the butthole driving at night.

The rocker switch between the lights should be in the middle position to work with the door switches. The right position of the rocker switch should shut the interior lights off. That is all that I can think of. After trying the rocker switch, you may have to wait a little bit to allow the lights to fade off.

Yep. The switch don’t work at all.
