Mods so far:

• Ditched the Hex Dragonfly for a Holosun 507C on a Springfield Armory/Agency optic plate
• Changed out the guide rod assembly for an EGW tooless setup
• Licensed STI airsoft Magwell funnel, slightly massaged to fit on the Prodigy (don't judge! ?)
• Streamlight TLR-7
• Custom made hokster designed by a friend and I in his shop.

What are your thoughts on running a longer flashlight to prevent out of battery situations if pressed up against an attacker?

I run shorter lights, like yours, but have considered mounting them differently or replacing them.

Totally makes sense and was a consideration for me. But...

... this isn't a small gun and I was aiming to make it's size with a weapon light as compact as possible.

I think it's length is just at where I can get away with carrying it IWB appendix.

Makes sense. I didn't really think of packaging, just saw your setup and figured I'd ask somebody with more experience than myself.

Hopefully neither of us are ever in that situation, regardless of light mounting.

In an ideal world, I would love to through a full-sized light on my Prodigy. Unfortunately, I am not an ideal size or weight. ?
