lol I just received this email from the Cardinals. All these years of being a season ticket holder and this year I'm picked from the lottery to buy Super Bowl tickets. Of course they're not my season ticket seats which are on the 40 yard line Row 12.

They're in the upper deck Row B. The price though...Ouch!
The processing fee is more than any ticket to a UVA game!

I just wish they would have someone decent for the half-time show for a change. Rihanna? Give me a break!

That's crazy! When we wee in AR back in late Sept they were playing Alabama. We're both huge Roll Tide fans and wanted to go but 2 decent tickets were $600/pair. Needless to say we watched it on tv. lol

Yeah the whole NFL is out of control money wise. Ya wanna know what's worse? I can't have my season ticket seats, They're on the 40 yard line 12 rows off the field. I'm sure these went to the "top brokers" who'll sell these for $5,000+ instead of offering them to me. the one who's paid for them for over 10 years. Since we went 8 years ago the face value on the upper deck seats have doubled. Of course Annie wants to go but no way I'm spending almost $4K for one game.

And yet it will be sold out. That's a lot of damn money.
It was and it was a tough choice. But I've always wanted to go to a SB and this might have been the only time to do it without paying any crazy markups. Honest to God there were tickets being sold for $10K/each because Seattle was in it. We had someone offer us $8K as we were walking into the stadium and it was VERY hard to pass that up.

Both of ya’ll are Alabama fans? I knew I liked ya’ll for some reason, even if one of you is in “can’t park straight” denial.
;)

Who you got? While I don't watch football as much as I use too (I love college ball more) I'm routing for KC. That was a good battle between Cincy and KC and one dumb mistake cost Cincy the game. Burrows will be a force for years to come and has taken Cincy a long way in the last 2 years. Mahomes stayed cool and calm and played well through his ankle injury. I still think Philly will be tough, they have a great defense. Mahomes will need these 2 weeks to heal and it should be a really good Super Bowl.
I'm rooting for kc. They have been my team since the 90s. Even got the starter jacket from the 90s that my grandpa bought for me. Its reversible too.
I don't really watch much nfl though. But im glad that they are extremely well the last few years.

I don't watch a lot anymore either. But for some reason I did watch most of the playoffs this year. There were some good games and hopefully this will be a good Super Bowl and not a blowout. Hopefully KC wins it!

Yeah I'm hoping they will win. I usually don't watch their regular games because then they end up losing.

I was like that watching hockey. When the Hawks were in the playoffs years ago every time I watched the game they'd lose. So I'd end up taping it and watching it later. lol Although when they made it to the Stanley Cup I did watch that and luckily they won. :whew:

Yeah I watched the 2020 Superbowl and got lucky they won. The following superbowl they lost though. So hopefully they get this one.

Just more proof some have more money than brains! ?‍♂

https://www.yahoo.com/sports/first-million-dollar-bet-super-164505455.html

The first million-dollar bet for Super Bowl LVII has landed

Someone has bet $1 million on the Eagles straight up with BetMGM, at -125 odds. The bet will pay, if Philly wins, $800,000. And if the Chiefs win, a million bucks is gone forever.

If people with the money to make huge bets like that want to waste their hard-earned cash, so be it. But if you have the means to casually bet a million on a football game, who cares about potentially winning $800,000 — especially once all taxes are collected?

Not much into this bowl this year, but IMO, the Eagles are only as good as their rowdy fans let them be. KC has a game plan and will upset their come in all cocky attitude with a 33 to 37 win.
Edit: not a bad prediction if I do say so myself.
