Yea I remember 10+ years ago you could get them for damn near 50 cents a pop.

However that is not the connection I am making. I just know every time the economy starts taking a shit these get sold out quicker than gasoline in a hurricane damaged area.

I bet whomever owns Tostinos (or its parent company) love recessions. lol

I only thought about this because as of recently I've been grocery budgeting myself more tightly and bought some of these having not done so in years. However, I do spruce mine up with fresh mozzarella and whatever toppings are in my fridge. Comes out pretty good.

Looking in frozen pizza aisle, I am amazed how many gucci brands now sell pizzas that cost more than ordering one FRESH from an actual pizza store.

I thought the same thing Saturday. Just wanted to grab a pizza for the freezer to have in a pinch. Crazy the prices now. Pizza Hut delivery is almost the same price (and less in a couple instances) than some of these brands.

And we did the same with the tostinos. Would stock up (I think I remember $7 cents, but for sure remember $1), we would buy for the kids for late night snack, spruce them up a bit.I noticed they said in big print 'SAME AMOUNT OF PIZZA'.

I think I'll pick a few up for cold crappy nights. I live alone an usually go out to eat most nights. When it's crappy out I'll make something at home like frozen mac an cheese, spaghetti an corn dogs.

A dozen wings has gone from 10 to 12 bucks to 18 to 20 bucks around here. Crazy.

It's going to get worse. Billionaires are hoarding farm land...there's a plan for something an it's probably not good for the average person. also look into the farmers protest in the Netherlands. They are enforcing rules to fight climate change on the farmers that will reduce their production by 30% making farming unprofitable. I guess they figure if you starve a few million people to death it will reduce the carbon footprint.

I've gotten use to buying bags of frozen wings and cooking them in the air fryer.

Thaw them, then 20 minutes at 400F, coat them with whatever sauce, then toss them back in air fryer for another 5 min at 400F. Toss them again and eat.

Comes out crunchy and good almost like oil fryer.

I made them like this without thawing them. There's instructions on the web to do it. I just hate cleaning the air fryer after it. Lemon Pepper is a good flavor to make in the air fryer.
