I just had my FIFTH interview with the online firearm and ammunition retailer for that marketing job! This time it was in person. I am optimistic about this and I think I'm going to get an offer! It was a fairly long interview from 1000 to 1530, and they took me out for lunch with the marketing group and one of the company founders. I'm feeling good about this!

All my life I've used Hoppe's #9 solvent to clean my guns, but I've noticed recently the smell is beginning to bother me and is a wee harsh on my skin. Jeanie is bothered by the smell anymore too.
Do you guys have a more nose and skin friendly cleaning agent you use when tending to your weapons?

Probably not.
I'm just getting older, more sensitive. And apparently more fragile.

Wipe Out!.......no smell and works great on the barrel! I don't use anything on the frames or slides....soft bristle brush and cleaning patches.

I've been using CLP spray but I have no sense of smell expect for cigarettes. I can smell those a mile away an it gives me headaches.

ive used the remoil clp spray for a while it seems ok. still has a chemical smell though.
