Anyone running ARB Solis lights via their upfitters?

Ordering a set of ARB solis light to mount on the bull bar on my 22 ranger tremor with upfitters.

I want to us the upfitters for the on switch while still retaining functionality of their dimming switch. Has anyone done this yet?

Does the light kit have its own on/off switch and a dimmer or are they integrated?

Haha I can’t wrap my head around this one. I’ve attached their wiring diagram. The dimmer/on switch is integrated. I’m hoping to wire it to an upfitter to turn on, then use the dimmer bit when necessary (high fog whatever )

i thought maybe I could add the upfitter hot in the middle of the touchpad connectors with a T-Tap

I have no idea if this will work, given the 'touchpad' switch, but... you'd have to isolate the power switch wire and run that to your upfitters. Given the fanciness of the touchpad switch, I'm thinking that would then take power from the switch and not allow you to adjust the dimmer.

A T tap will only draw signal from that line, you'd have to break that connection to make it work as a switch. Power still runs through the power wire before and after the T tap, so it won't do anything.

Yeah , I think it’s worth a try, I’ll remove the connectors to break things out then use solder seals to try and make it work . If I break it I’ll just order another dimmer module. I just like the idea of having all my accessories in the upfitters

went the safe route on the installation this weekend. To avoid knee bumping the solis via the ARB switch, I splice the orange and yellow wire on thee harness supplied to Upfitter Aux 2. To turn the lights on I still have to hit the ARB button for now and use the dimming features.
