A Finnish double-blind study found out that mixing forest microbiota into a daycare sandbox will improve the beneficial bacterial content and blood interleukin levels. Possible result of this (and further studies) is to reduce the occurrence of diabetes and allergies in city dwelling populations without frequent access to forest.

It is sensible to park a new car crooked on the lot. This way the others will look at the car and think that the driver is blatantly incompetent and avoid parking next to the car. No more door dents on the sides.

I just saw this on my way to the garden shop and thought it was interesting, or maybe a glitch in the matrix, or perhaps even sinister...
I cut this grass late Sunday evening , this is Tuesday morning, now that's a pretty large ? leaf ? beside it for scale ... how it grow like that almost overnight? It's big AF and I didn't see it there yesterday at all ? Did it grow there or did it land there? Should I eat it ? ?

Had to work for this angle...

And some of us aren't doing it on purpose.

But the empirical evidence seems to point to the fact that the effect is the same.

We see those often around home. And yes, they show up overnight, usually in a ring with several mushrooms. We call them fairy rings.
