TRIED to get a few things done...

Though I feel like it could use some thin foam or rubber gasketing around the bottom edge like the factory one to keep it from rattling around.

This thing... piece of cake.

But THIS ?

Had the tow hooks out in a few minutes, new shackle conversions installed in a few minutes... then spent the next hour wrestling with the skid plate, trying to adjust the skid plate mounting plate portion, only to have this amazing realization...

Rough country kit skid plate holes are a solid 3/4"-1" off from where they needed to be.

Not sure why I didn't eyeball things once I had the hooks off, must have been the label on the box that said "Ford Ranger 2019-2021". (And 2022 I assume )

So I'm irritated...probably due to my own incompetence, but I bailed and put the tow hooks back on while I figure the next move out.

At the end of the day I got no satisfaction from the air filter or air scoop.

Ran out of daylight replacing the ecoboost badge. I don't really recommend doing this unless you want to replace it, the badge had a lot of adhesive to remove. I don't know who likes handy little lights this milwaukee light is ridiculously bright this is the lowest setting and flash turned off on my phone.

just stop on the shoulder one day and toss a baseball in the corn and wait patiently on the tailgate. i know wrong state. but worth a shot! Ray liota may be wandering someplace waiting, now that he passed.

this may sound stupid but folks expect that from me lol. i wish the tailgate applique covered up the lower part as well. I never cared for RANGER across the back like that. too over done already by other brands in my book.

Agree. Especially when large colored letting is used to make it pop.

yep! ive seen some of the r5g members do the letters and it looks nice in most cases but is not for me.
