I was digging around. And found a couple pics of my 2007 Ranger. That hurt letting that go!

Wow that was really a nice older Ranger! It must of been very hard getting rid of it, I don't think I could've let it go.

Yeah my Ranger is just about the same size as my first F150 which was a '97. I really hope they don't get to much larger because the one thing I love about them now is they're the perfect size for most everyday stuff and work and they still fit in the garage.

I drove by a older ranger yesterday. Guessing it was a 2010. In great shape. The guy driving it was looking at mine. And I was looking at his. It looked really small compared to this new one.

I had the 4.0 OHV in my '99 B4000 4x4, 5sp manual. Averaged 18 MPG when I sold it at 235,000 miles.

man i want one like that! i wanna swap my 4g ranger edge for a 4g ranger fx4. in my opinion they make a great adventure truck. small enough to go into tight spots. strong enough to upgrade and drag along all the gear and very reliable. parts are cheaper now too. but they are so hard to find now that are not trashed or have 250K on them.

Here's my old Ranger. I bought it for $7200 bucks on Black Friday 2015. It was originally a 2003 Sonic Blue Metallic Pearl, XLT 4 door Supercab, EDGE 4x4, loaded, had every option available, except it was a 5-speed. I think it had something like 135k miles at the time?

In Summer of 2016, I gave it a face lift to look like a 2011 FX4, updated the wheels to 16" FX4 style and painted it 2015 Mustang Grabber Blue.

In early 2018, this jackass ran a yield sign and hit me and didn't do much too it, just pushed in the Black lower air dam. His insurance company gave me $4800 for the damages  so, I lifted it 2 inches, bought a custom built USA front bumper and a Superwinch winch.

I loved this old Ranger! Got a whopping 200 miles to a tank in fuel, but that was pretty much all city driving. In 7 years, I don't think I even put 35k miles on it, LOL! Didn't have to do much to it over the 7 years of ownership. I replaced the battery, alternator, 2 thermostats/housings, fuel pump/sender, brakes and tires, air and oil filters and added freon a few times, but I think that was it. I definitely miss it being paid off!

Ford offered me a whopping $1000 bucks for it on trade-in, but I ended up selling it to my co-workers son, who's in school to become a minister.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but this body style Ranger will always be one of my favorites!
