Go Rhino - Black Exhaust Tip

Just curious what you would paint with? i have plasti-dip but not sure if that would melt off.

I Plasti-Dipped the tips on my Ram about 1.5 yrs ago. Still going strong. A lot of people have done this with no issues.

I was just looking at the ugly exhaust tip last night and thinking I needed some good high heat black paint.

For $40., I'll go with the quick bolt on. Order placed.

I ordered the GRT3410B and got it today.....but it doesn't fit. The inner diameter of the tip is smaller (2.844 inches but supposed to be 3 inches) than the outer diameter of the exhaust (2.902). I have a call into Go Rhino and awaiting a return call. Spreading the end a little won't help. It won't go past the bell end of the tip where it goes from the supposedly 3 inches to 4 inches.

Should slide easily. Too easy but tightens very well with the clamp.

Agreed...but it doesn't. Got mine from amazon also.

UPDATE 4/18/19: I am in email correspondence with Go Rhino to try to straighten it out.

UPDATE 4/19/19: After sending my invoice by email last night, they are shipping me a replacement on Monday.

Great company to do business with. Sent a couple of pics with the dimensions and the invoice of my purchase (on Amazon) I am getting a replacement free of charge. They did not mention to return the item I have, but I asked what to do with it anyway and waiting a response.

Update:
They responded rather quickly and asked if I would destroy the tip and send pics. I hated to destroy it but I understand why, so I wouldn't resell it. I will post pics here when I get the other one installed

Did the High Heat Black paint thing. Painted the exhaust pipe all the way back to the muffler. Looks good from behind as well as from the side...

I am gonna do that too. I don't like the look with the just the black tip. The exhaust pipe needs to be black also.

Not to hijack the thread or anything (I like the exhaust tip and will most likely add the same one to mine), but which mud flaps do you have installed? the pictures I saw from Ford accessories just looked like flat rubber flaps and not molded like these. Thanks in advance.
