Out of curiosity I went and checked their stock prices today ? $22.68 a share! Back in August 2021 it was 313.00 a share!

Looks like dad and son are close to done! Used car market will be flooded if it keeps up. Throw on top of that people selling cars because they can’t afford to put the gas in them along with insurance and registration fees!

Hold on tight. It’s about to get mighty rocky out there

Their buy high and sell higher model in a business as competitive as selling used cars was suspect from the beginning. Plus, they’ve been shut down in at least one State because of title processing problems. The cherry on top is that they reportedly recently fired 2500 employees via email and zoom. Not a company I’m inclined to root for or support.

They're still offering $36k for my truck even though it's almost used up now at 16k miles.

Still lower than the Driveway offer though.

I was just going to say that - Driveway and Vroom haven't learned; Driveway is paying $18,000 for my girlfriend's 2018 Crosstrek with almost 80,000 miles on it. It isn't loaded, has a broken radio head unit, and been repaired after a heavy rear-end accident. They don't care; the agent told her as long as the vehicle isn't totalled when the driver gets there, they'll take it. SMH.

My Vroom offer is $6k lower than Carvana.

It used to be higher, but dropped a good bit a couple months ago and has stayed right around $30k.

$30k for my truck?

No way.

$36k?

Hmmm...

But then I've been offered $39k and I still have it, because every time I seriously consider taking the offer I look around and there's not another midsize truck I want.
