I have Sirius 3 months for free with the new '22. After 3 months I'll give it up. Had a Sirius plan for $60/year......after a year they bumped it up to close to $300/year if I remember right. Called 'em and told them to disconnect it.....they backpedaled and said let us get a manager and lower that price. Told 'em to save my time and their breath.....the 'best deal' shoulda been where I was at and shouldn't have changed. Informed 'em they could give it to me FREE and I'd still refuse.......just due to their price gouge.

After having the free trial in my Jeep I kind of got use to it. So I called to see if I could get 1 month just for our trip. She gave me a 3 month special with the unlimited package for only $2.00. Then I just received an email from Navy Federal Credit Union that they're giving their customers 3 months for free. If this keep up I'll have it all year for under $10.00. lol

You're not missing much imo. It's better than my local yocal radio but not enough to pay for it.

Got the same thing. Also 3 free month offer from them via email, several times, if I confirmed my email after a recent oil change a the local Ford dealership. When I bought my Ranger I started getting postal mail from Sirius with various offers. No thanks. They have been on the bad end of several lawsuits. From robocalls to a class action lawsuit about their "lifetime" plans. I don't want anything to do with them.

In hindsight I should have asked the dealer not to register my information with them when I bought my Ranger. I'll certainly do so in the future because when I buy a vehicle I don't want my information shared with a company I have no intention of doing business with.

I was using iHeart Radio and TuneIn Radio through my phone. But we're going to be traveling through a lot of mountainous areas and I'm not sure how good the cell service will be. I went through the whole cancellation BS with them back when I had my 2013 F150 and hope it's not that bad this time.

That's true my friend. I have the "Mostly Music" hooked up in my Jeep. It's chesp enough. We seldom listen to it unless we're on a long trip. We just got back from Florida, and TBH we listened to my USB drive more than Sirius. It's got to where there's more talk than music sometimes.

@AzScorpion You should be fine Dave. The last time we were out that way we only lost reception a couple of times (phone also) on the Beartooth Highway (212). It didn't matter one bit, because it's well worth the ride.

BTW, when I cancel Sirius/XM I just tell 'em I selling the vehicle. They don't have a come back for that. I know it's lie, but I think the Good Lord will understand it's Sirius/XM we're dealing with. :)

Yeah it came in handy when I was driving across the US. But I have a good collection of podcasts now that covers more than I could ever get from the radio.

You could tell them you're selling the truck like Wanted33 said but if you feel like being funny you could tell them you're going to prison. That one always works too. :D

To late as I already got the 3 month special. Now I'm just preparing myself for the cancelation torture I'm about to go through mid July. :punch:?

I love SiriusXM. It sucks that I have to play the cancel game with them once a year to get the discount price, but worth it IMO. Most radio plays commercial crap music, then fill the gaps with commercials.

Turn it to channel 40 (Liquid Metal) then break the dial off 'cause that's all you need!!! LOL

I didn't have any good channels with my free trial, just stuff like Pearl Jam radio and Nirvana radio. Who want's to listen to the same band all the time?!
