This is trivial at best but my phone does not display image of truck with color. Not sure why this even bugs me, but am I the only one and is there a fix?

Some people have reported that uninstalling FordPass and re-installing it fixes this. I think mine just showed up after a few days.

It is hard to wait, but it is WELL worth the wait. I waited 16 long weeks for mine... And probably another 8 before I actually ordered while I was figuring out exactly what I wanted to get.

If you didn't know this already, once yours goes into production, you can validate that it has been "born" by firing up FordPass. When you do that, if it has actually been built, you will get a message telling you to acknowledge the prompt on the screen on the truck. If that happens, you know it is alive. Confirming it is built somehow helped a bit with the waiting - at least for me.

That is good to know @RedlandRanger . I have not had to wait near as long as some on this site have. So no real complaints from me there. I will try that in a week or two to see if my truck shows up on the FordPass.

Have you gotten your window sticker yet? If so, wait at least until your blend date to try it. Mine was actually built 3 days after my blend date (blend date was 3/16, actual build date was 3/19).

Not yet @RedlandRanger on the window sticker. I'm going by production dates schedule thread which says orders placed the first week of April should start on the week of May 27. I ordered April 2nd and Ford acknowledged the 4th on tracker site. Someone else posted they bought about seven days after me their build date of June 10th and delivery June 30th. Seven days after my dealer ETA. Mine is a stock order and I think I read they are not updated as well on the tracker site as retails. I will check with Pioneer74 who has been helping people with their truck info within the next week or so.

Apologies if I took this thread off track, did not mean to hijack it.

I also activated mine once it was built and some nice fellow at the factory approved my request in the truck before it was delivered. I knew the truck was delivered before vin tracker was updated and before dealer called me...

That is TOO funny! And WAY cool!

I think it kind of messed up my initial attempt at pairing - I ended up having to reset things and then it all worked. Either way, it was well worth knowing it was alive. It really helped with the wait. Just like knowing where on the train it was helped me wait. Man, I think that was the worst part of the wait, watching the train S L O W L Y cross the country.... :)

Mine came 6 miles down the road from the plant but sat a month for steering wheel. Drive by the plant all the time and the lot is stuffed full. Worst part of my wait was no public info on what the delay was or when it would resolve, that and my Milan wasn't going to last another week without some costly work.

Yeah it took a LONG time before Ford owned up to supply "shortages" - many people were in the dark on why their new truck was built but just sitting for weeks on end. I was fortunate not to fall into that problem. It just took a while for my truck to get scheduled and built.
