I know this is an older thread but it looks like the problem is still persisting. I have 2 vehicles in my account - one is fine but the Ranger is not showing the image. I've opened a ticket with Ford support and they ran me thru the ringer of removing/adding again, uninstall & reinstall of the app, nothing seems to address the issue which seems to be a Ford backend issue.

Anyone have any detail on this?
I do not own a Ranger yet, but I took the time to read the entire thread because I want to be informed by the time I take delivery of my truck.
That being said, I have a friend who is a tech nerd and who owned a couple Ford cars over the years. He stated several times over the years, that Ford and Android get along, and Apple does not. He said years ago there was a software compatibility war between Ford and Apple. Apple was very proud of there software and refused to share certain aspects of their programing with anyone for that matter. He remembers Honda and Toyota were the only ones Apple wanted to work with 9at that time). Now fast forward to today, and we have Apple trying to get into everything :giggle:

My buddy said that Ford always preferred to work with Android products/software, where Apple was secondary. Not sure if it's left a bad taste for FORD, but it "appears" the people with the app issues usually have Apple products?? I'm not a techie by no stretch of the imagination, just passing info from a friend who is ;)

Maybe someone here could elaborate more.

I deleted the Cache and the Data and then the entire app. I restarted the phone and reloaded the app. All is back to normal now.
Just tried this because I was having this problem and it worked. Thanks for sharing.

That compatibility may be prevalent for other things but not in this case, the vehicle image is also missing from the Ford.com "my account" page on the vehicle dashboard. My other vehicle is there, just not the Ranger and the FordPass app follows what I am seeing in the Ford.com dashboard.

I've run an iPhone with FordPass since 2018 with no issues. Trying to get Ford to acknowledge they have an issue is where I think am at right now. I hope they answer my support ticket soon.

Just read this thread the OP stated he was on Android version 3.9.0. I am on 4.11.0 not sure how many released versions are between those two but mine is working fine.
