You guys are hardcore. There‘s so much pollen in the air in ATL right now, I think you would still have to dry it off.

We got back from Nashville this weekend and the Ranger was covered in pollen from our Vegas winds. When I left it clean lol.You guys are hardcore. There‘s so much pollen in the air in ATL right now, I think you would still have to dry it off.
Well I ordered it. $100 and it arrives tomorrow. Couldn't resist since the truck needs a wash ASAP.I went the budget route. Works perfectly. Just rinse and walk away. No drying, no spots.
Although that system might be cheaper in the long run, considering filter replacement. I have space issues though, and needed compact as well.

Can I come over and try it? LolMan, I have been tempted more than once to get something like this since buying a black ranger and living in the desert. What level of maintenance is there or recharging that is done to maintain performance?
Guessing we have about the same water quality in Vegas as you do? I choose the soft water over tap because the salt seems easier to manage but man, with a black ranger, it still drives me nuts.
Well, sheesh this is cheap enough I may pull the trigger on it this week!! Thanks for links!
haha as bad as our water is, I hope it last through one rinse on the Ranger.
Yup, that’s why if I do buy that two stage filter you bought, I plan on adding a pre filter before the actual two stage filter so it helps filter out some of the crap. Amazon has some cheap ones for $20haha as bad as our water is, I hope it last through one rinse on the Ranger.
Last time I washed the truck I tried the Jay Leno wash+wax product, the soap seemed pretty good and did not seem to water spot so quickly. The Leno quick detailer did not seem as good as the chemical guys one. Got both at Walmart. Gonna stick to the Leno wash+wax and then the Chemical guys quick detailer after I dry the truck. The spot free rinse will make my life easier though.

Disclaimer, I am not a nerd about this stuff. I just noticed the paint had less friction with the chemical guys one than the Leno one. Without either product, the paint definitely was not slick.
Yeah totally with you there. I use the Camco blue RV filters. There is a finer one that Walmart also keeps in stock too but I have not tried it yet. The filter seems to help SOME on the tap water but I do not notice a difference when I use it on soft water. Soft water seems easier to deal with than the tap water when it comes to water spots.Yup, that’s why if I do buy that two stage filter you bought, I plan on adding a pre filter before the actual two stage filter so it helps filter out some of the crap. Keep me posted bro! I am very interested in this system. That said, the DI kit arrived, can't wait to try it out! I am just swamped with work so I have to see when I can wash the truck. It is VERY due for a wash. Lake Mead dirt on it and the pollen in the air.
Yeah, hopefully tomorrow I can wash her. That filter is probably similar to the Camco I use. The one I was interested is 1 micron and much more expensive. Here is the Walmart link, in store. At the very least, may use it on our travel trailer but not sure if it can catch sodium. I found a size chart and did not see sodium but pollen was under 20micronsKeep me posted bro!
