I bought my truck modified already modified from the dealer. So far this is the only ranger I've seen with this exhaust tip. Does anyone else have a gray tip from the factory?

Probably something the dealer does to add some extra flare. I've not seen one yet without just a regular steel (and burned carbon) exhaust tip.

I added this as soon as I got the truck home. (Painted the pipe black too.)

Can you provide a link to that tip please?

I’ve been looking for a black tip for some time. I don't have my truck yet though so its no big deal. I did have a couple questions for you guys, hope there not to silly. Coming from an F150 this is all new to me but what is the Rangers exhaust diameter? 2.5’, 2.75? Also, can you see the stock tailpipe inside of these tips because the stock pipe is so long. Are you guys cutting the exhaust?, I wouldn’t be into that. Thanks

Wow 3”? Didn’t think it would be that big, pretty sure my F150’s was 2.5”. Thanks for the quick reply, joe..

I painted the exposed pipe inside the GoRhino tip too. Helps it disappear.

Sorry, I didn't explain very well. You said you can see the pipe,.... Like do you have to really be looking for it or is it pretty obvious? The picture posted you can't see it......

It looks very nice on the truck. A subtle mod.

If you get your face down to it, you can see the galvanized exhaust pipe inside the GoRhino tip. By squirting some high heat flat black paint into it, the "silvery" metal color of the exhaust tends to disappear. For continuity, painting the pipe from the bolt-on tip back to the muffler is also a clean way to go.
