Sirius song/artist out of sync on dash

Hello all,

I have a Tremor Lariat with the dual information display. I tried searching for this issue and did not see any prior posts so wondering if anyone else has this issue…
Sirius Is on and Sync 8” display always shows proper artist and song title. On the Right hand info dash display (when set to entertainment) says Sirius with correct artist and song title. Song changes. 8” sync display shows proper artist/song but the info display refreshes the artist (top line) but keeps the song title of the song that ended (bottom line). Change the channel and go back and it refreshes fine. You can also usually let a song pass or two and then the bottom song title will refresh with artist. 8 inch sync screen always refreshes and has proper artist/song title. Anyone else have this happen? December 21 build.

It's slow or glitchy on mine using Android Auto (Amazon Music) as well.

Sirius is not playing via phone. This is Sirius playing through the car subscription with Sirius as the source. No Apple or Android phone in use.

On mine using Sirius, as soon as the song starts playing, the display will update to show the next song in the cue. Got to love electronics

Heh, I have the opposite problem. I use a combination of my old 2008 iPod Touch through USB, as well as just a pure USB drive. The 8'' screen will freeze up on the Song/Artist and never change about twice a week. The small screen continues to work though. If I change sources and come back, its fine. My wife's Sync3 doesn't have the same issue .

Mine sometimes wont show the correct artist/title. Not often but it has happened. I think its a Sirius issue.

That is what made me ask on this forum! My wife’s sync 3 in Explorer which is release behind this one never has any problems syncing the entertainment info screen on dash to actual 8” screen. So it is either a Sync 3.5 issue or Ranger specific issue. I was hoping I was not the only one because I am trying to rule out whether this is just my truck thing or a wide scale issue that is likely Sync or Sirius related. Obviously not a huge issue, but annoying. Wife busting that her “old” 2017 works better!

Before my trial ended I noticed this too on mine with sirius, didn't happen all the time and when it did all I had to do was wait a bit or click out to the menu and back in (very easy). A bit glitchy which isn't ideal but never really bothered me

I have the exact same issue in my 2019 Lariat. I haven't tried to troubleshoot it at all, but I'm watching this thread now!

I'm not expecting any sort of resolution to my issue. I've had it since I bought the truck nearly 3 years ago, and have done numerous Sync updates in that time period. Plus, the Everest I'm driving in Thailand right now has the same issue .
