Just finished adding this rack to my truck, posting this in case it helps anyone else. I already had the Revolver tonneau so I paid the extortion Bak charges for the new t-slot rails and added the Yakima rack. It’s crazy how many different parts and prices need to be fit together from Yakima to...
I've had a horrible experience with Waze in this truck. It seemed to consistently freeze the screen, even when not in use for navigation, so I deleted it from my phone. Carplay seems more stable now.
Update on this. I ended up buying a roof rack and attaching it to some extra slat wall I had laying around. Now the boards are secure and if I need extra space in the bed, I can put mine diagonally on the net and turn the rack parallel w the bed.
TBD on whether this is going to work. Using the bag will certainly help since the net is still a little bouncy. Might need to bungee the board to the net or something.
Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to try the cargo net and see what happens. Hopefully it can be installed tight enough that the boards don't bounce up into the tonneau. Also ordered a couple bags. Between the two solutions, hopefully I'll be good to go this winter.
Looking to keep everything under the tonneau since the boards live in the truck all winter, typically.
Are those bags ok for wet gear or will they get nasty pretty quick?
Anyone have a solution to store snowboards in the bed? Last season I just threw them in there but they tend to slide around and get dinged up. One problem is my board needs to fit diagonally and I need to something to hold 3 boards and a pair of skis. Any ideas?
First thought was to use...
Maybe it's worth another shot. When I had it last year it was unusable so hopefully they made some updates.
I also have a wireless charging solution in the truck so never worried about the phone battery.
I used this for approximately 6 months and decided to go to a hard cover instead. Includes all mounting hardware, except for the bulkhead seal.
Prefer pickup in Grand Rapids, MI. Will not ship.

For those of you upset that people buy trucks and never take them off-road, do you also judge the Ferrari, Porsche, Mclaren, etc. owners that drive their cars to the mall and never see a racetrack? How about a Mom that drives a mini van but never with more than 1 kid in it?
Glad yours is good because mine has been un-useable in my first week. Randomly disconnects all the time. The manufacturer sent me a link to a firmware or some other update so I'll have to try that before making any other judgements.
My dealer just quoted 2.5hrs labor for install. Total quote for the parts + install was $1,300! How are you guys getting the dealer to do the install so quickly and inexpensively? Even if I buy the hardware from Levittown, the labor is still too hard to swallow.

I just ordered this. Seems to be a newer, maybe upgraded version of the one the OP was asking about. I'll report back on my experience when I have a chance to check it out.
Anyone try something like mounting the BuiltRight tech plate under the cover of the console? Looks like an interesting solution, just don't know if they make a plate small enough that would fit.
