FORDPASS App.. Notifications?

Mine did the same. I had not used it in months but when I aired up my tires today I decided to open it to compare against my measured air pressure. I had to sign in again for some reason. Once signed in no mater what I did it showed a new message icon for the app. I deleted all messages in the app and it was still there. Closed the app, restarted my phone and that "1" was still there. It was annoying the hell out of me. Finally I deleted the app and then reinstalled it. That fixed it.

Gonna try sign out and sign back in. Still there today and super annoyed.

So first time I’ve ever seen this … (months) and my FORDPASS app is saying I have a notification… (little red “1” on iPhone), well I click on it and it says some SiriusXM offer. I delete the “message”… but now the notification on my Home Screen with the F symbol keeps the “1” there in red? But no messages .. even when I open up the app, in top right corner it says “account” and has the “1” there too. But nothing else is there … what the..?

Ive had apps do that before. I'm ocd too it drives me crazy to see the little numbers, I feel like they have to go away as fast as possible lolol. If i look at my wife's phone with email notification in the 100s it gives me anxiety.

My wife's inbox has over 17k messages in it; drives me bonkers when asks me to forward something to her work email for her.

Log out of the app and log back in, thats what worked for me

I just got a new Iphone 13 and did not reset the app. I don't see any use for it as it is such a PITA. No use for it .

Me, to each their own. I use it daily for remote start, and once a month or so to make sure I got the doors locked.

Crisis Averted!

There was an update to correct the unread message display. After the update the red dot is all gone now.

I had to log out and log in … mother fugger.. lol, I didn’t get the update
