Saw one today and had to do a double take at the gas station. It’s definitely the size of my old Ranger. It’s going to be a great seller for sure. Personally, I know for me the Ranger I’m in now is right for me!

Seen a few in the my area as well. But a two year wait is NOT for me. I'm pushing it with the Ranger build. Local dealer gets a few Broncos here and there and same with Mavericks. Not sure if they are spoken for, but looks to me some are actually for sale...im sure at a premium price too.
Don't you miss the old days when they had more vehicles than they could sell, you could drive a bunch, pick a color and package, and you could negotiate.

I really wonder how many people would buy the Maverick over a Ranger, just because only a Maverick is available.
I wanted a maverick but only a ranger was available. I would like more mpg, but am very happy with the ranger.

I had one on order because price. Then got a ranger for the same price and I only lost awd... But I also don't deal with snow or ice often so I am good with my 2wd ranger.

I did gain a real gear selector and ebrake instead of that weird ass dial and button.

That and having a frame

And the 2.3 (2.0 cracking the exhaust manifold aka the head under driving like a jackass conditions had me a bit worried about longevity)

And real rwd

Better towing

a better interior (imo)

And foglights

Then seeing two of the four Mavs sold at my local dealer back with their drivetrain locked up sort of removed any lasting... "I should have waited" issues I had with going Ranger over Mav.

in my mind the maverick looks like the bastard off spring of a drunken affair between a ranger and an ecosport... its the dumb runt only a mother could love... sorta. the maverick has many years of anti depressants and therapy in its future before it accepts that its not a truck and not a car but, some how will find someone to drive it if it has enough sticker packages to tough up itself...

My dealer has plenty of full size Broncos, Mavericks and F-150s on the lot.

He will also give you the crappiest deal you can ask for. Felt like I was raped after I tried to trade my Ranger for a F-150. I guess dealer or Ford loyalty doesn't matter any more. I think I have purchased my last ford.

Put the dealership on blast here so everyone knows not to go there.

you have a dealer problem. not a Ford problem
While this is true, it's sometimes hard to separate the Dealer from the Product.

I bought a Goodyear air hose for my compressor. It was on sale for a good price and silly me thought "Oh, a Goodyear hose. It's probably better quality than the cheapos."

Biggest piece of crap hose I ever bought.

While I am sure Goodyear makes some good stuff, the fact that they would put their name on that crap hose makes me think twice about buying anything Goodyear.

So if Ford puts their brand approval on a dealer like that, the dealer actions reflect on Ford too.
