Am I missing something? WTF is up with $420 mudflaps. Platinum hardware or something. This is nuts. I plan on going with RB just because they are 150 and look pretty nice too.

WeatherTech no drill is what I used, and they are just fine. Those Ford ones have to be Platinum lined. :)

Is there gold in them there flaps? I've never used mud flaps even when back east. They either get hung up when your off road and break or get ripped off while mall crawling. Maybe I've been lucky but I've never had any damage to the lower fenders or rockers from not having them. PPF is good for the lowers for some added protection.

I’ve been considering adding additional plastic film at the back of my fenders instead of mud flaps.

Future Tremor owner here. RB will be a must have if you ever get on a gravel road.

If I didn't put the Rokblox on, the side of this truck would be sandblasted off already. The Tremor really shouldn't be sold without them. I don't love the look but better than the alternative.

Even on normal roads; mine has salt to the roof. I can't imagine how bad it would be without them on.

I don't remember which tires come with the Tremor. I'm guessing that's the main culprit? I know many on the B6G forum were complaining about the SAS tires throwing every small pebble and rock down the sides of theirs.

They have the General (Rock) Grabbers. They definitely don't help but it's mostly how far they hang out past the fender flare. I have my flaps set to be just outboard past the the tire and it keeps the big stuff from flying back. I put them on as soon as the truck was home because so many Tremor owners here complained about how much their truck were getting chipped up by flying rocks.

I believe it. I go on a bunch of gravel roads fishing, hiking etc. Will put mud flaps on day 1 of ownership

That's actually a nice price for those particular ones. Regardless I still won't put them on because going off-road you can risk ripping those off

I just went with the factory flaps. Got a discount from the dealer for the set. I live on gravel so it's pretty much needed.

I see both sides of the argument, but I lean more to it being one less thing to break or tear while off roading. Even with soft rally Armour flaps on my STI I’ve had some tear off and break mounting points on the car
