The wife and I were never big moviegoers to begin with, but the big TV and sound bar downstairs in the "Man Room" means no more theater visits.

We can pause a movie on DVD if needed and we don't have to deal with the general public. They're not known for having an shred of common courtesy...or common sense.

their phones. add to that is the woke crowd in hollywood, I will not support the anti america
crowd or the bs from them.

I stopped spending my money to be preached at by a bunch of people that hate people like me. I think the last movie I saw was "the force awakens"

I was tempted to go to see the new Bond movie but heard it had someone come out as gay an it named a black woman the next bond made me realize why I stopped going. Guess I'm "get off my lawn guy" now

I was tempted to go to see the new Bond movie but heard it had someone come out as gay an it named a black woman the next bond made me realize why I stopped going. Guess I'm "get off my lawn guy" now

MY buddy saw it an said they set it up for Bond's replacement in the movie an it's a black woman. IMO that's a new franchise. If they set up 008 that's different.

i have no issue with a woman playing a spy role etc. and could not care less if the woman is black white or whatever color. I am an equal opportunity dater, ladies of different skin color and culture are like different flavors off my favorite dessert. I like em all lol. but, like you said it would have to be a new character and story. Flemming's Bond has always been a male in the books and movies. Even though I have doubts about P. Brosnin lol. The movies have sorta followed whatever was pop culture at the time with changes like cars, watches, clothes, guns etc. but 007 was always a male. I hope it is not one of the satire ish remakes of older franchises into something dumb like they did with Airplane, Starsky and Hutch, The Dukes of Hazzard, Ghost Busters, The A Team and many others. I liked Daniel Craig he has that brash Bond swagger and tough man vibe going like Sean Connery (best Bond ever in my mind).

Bond has always been a British dude, that's all I'm saying. Let me know when they make Shaft white LOL it doesn't work. It's not the character. Launch a new series or character.....we could use some fresh ideas for entertainment.

Brosnan was a good Bond in Goldeneye.

The movies after that, not so much.

Craig was great in Casino Royale, Quantum Of Solace meh, and the ones after that good again.

The new movie has the female given the 007 number since Bond was retired, but she gives her number back to Bond when he returns.

Q is the one who is now gay to appeal to the woke crowd.

Bond, he is a changing...
