2021 Ranger XL Blue Tooth Mic

New truck 2021 XL 4x4 with 6 speaker 4G sync Old style 4" screen AM FM Radio
Truck is great happy owner........... Bluetooth works great unless someone wants to hear you .
I drive a 2018 F-150 for work no issues
,owned a 2013 F150 bluetooth no issues
owned a 2020 Ranger bluetooth no issues. I thought this will be easy. Maybe new mic or loose wire. Only to read this is a Ford Sync issue. I have sinking feeling my truck will be sitting have the dash ripped off ..........
Can anyone help with a reflash or update?? I have read everything I can find. This looks like real issue.
Any help would be great.

John, I have an STX, but it's still the basic XL SYNC system. I don't have anything to help, but just want to hang around to see what will be the ultimate fix. One never knows when something like this might pop up. Good luck, I hope it's an easy. Please keep us updated.

heres some sync trouble shooting tips.
i know others have had the issue
i guess the one that applies to you has you reboot your phone and also check to make sure the mic is actually on
other than that, hopefully the others who had the issue chime in

I can assume your mic on your blue tooth is junk too?

To be honest I don't use it that much. When I'm out the only person that knows my phone number is the wife. But, I'm guessing it's as bad as yours.

Update to bluetooth no mic volume . My truck has been to the dealer twice.
First for the diagnostics -All system ok needs mic
Returned for repair today . Mic installed. I picked up the truck and was told it was repaired. The tech made three calls all were good. Service writer says "it seems better" Out right lie
The mic was not the issue. Still no mic volume. Now I am screwed Case was opened.
So far they have had my truck two complete days.I have called Ford three times.
Ford factory support tells me to bring it back in again. This is a nightmare.
Has anyone else had this low volume /choppy mic issue repaired?
The only other fix is dump ford sync and install a after market radio with blue tooth. I may never buy another Ford again. Total disappointment
