I'm not knocking the functionality of the part, just saying they sure are marking it up. I'll keep my stock crash bars with 33's.
Trimmed or are you just dealing with the rubbing? I'm still waiting for my Icon lift so I don't have my new wheels and tires on yet. I was certain I had to totally remove the crash bars but that might not be so?

Well I don't have my lift nor wheels yet either, but the guys at BDS say that with their lift you don't have to modify the crash bars.

I don't see how that would happen. I hope it's the case but even with 265/70R17's on a 0 offset rim, I still had the slightest of rubbing with a 2.5" RC level. Did BDS say what tire and rim combo?

285/70r17s on stock wheels with their 2" lift.

How's that possible? No matter what lift you use, tires that big on the stock +55 offset will rub the spindle won't they?

Not entirely sure, but this is from their install manual:

I couldn't even fit my finger between the tire and the spindle when my Ranger was stock. That being said, I would think that BDS would do the research so it should be fine?!?

Do any of you guys plan to do much off-roading? I’m trying to figure out what trimming is really needed for 33’s. Even with Icon suspension, when my front end flexes the wheels will still end up tucked back into the factory location so trimming will still be required. Theoretically, I should have to be able to trim enough with my factory height for these tires to work on stock suspension if I ever want to be able to flex the truck with the Icons. Thoughts?
