curious what some of you guys have experienced wait time wise recently for orders. Been looking through dealer stock (it’s thin) but considering ordering if it has a chance to show up by December.

I didn't order but I highly doubt you'd get a Tremor by December if you ordered it today. Others can speak to their specific experiences though. And frankly, there's just no way to predict 100%

Kind of what I thought, just me trying to be cheap to get the incentives and get exactly what I want/don’t want. My dealer has a couple he should be able to swing a trade for, just trying to weigh my options. I’m done waiting for my bronco, I need something before the snow flies.

Might as well order a redesigned 2022 and wait about the same time.

Are you willing to travel? I took a flight to Portland from San Fran to pick up mine, I looked everywhere online on the west coast for the right ranger. Look through the current inventory, maybe you will find yours sitting in a lot somewhere? Then again there's so much demand for vehicles right now, I don't think you can avoid the wait time or the mark ups.

Mike, I would thnik waiting would be an easy thing for you since you've, like me, been waiting on a Bronco for over a year. I mean, we've got a lot of practice. :)

Anyho, I ordered my Ranger on Sept. 1st of '20, and it arrived on Dec, 6th of '20. That was before this Wuhan flu chit kicked in, and while MAP was pricticing running the Bronco. But, those 2 things may have not mattered as many here have waited at least 4 months, or longer to get their Ranger. Check on Bronco 6g, there's a production schedule on there that shows MAP is going to run Rangers for a month, but I can't remember which month. Maybe October. If you can get your order in it may get built during that marathon Ranger run. Now that all depends on if the '21 order banks are still open. Good luck

I’ve used up all my waiting ? I just can’t do it anymore. The wheels I have now were just a temporary fix n flip, and if I wait any longer I’m gonna lose money vs making money like I planned. My mindset and needs have changed to a truck vs my wants of the bronco, but I still want a truck I can use in the trails. I’ve got a motivated dealer who’s actually accepting x plan, so at this point I’ll probably just take what I can get (I’ve found a couple that fit my criteria, one for sure I know he can get), so it looks like I’m probably going to end up going that route. Was worth putting the question out there though.

I think a lot of dealers have orders already In place for dealer stock. I just ordered mine last week, the next day I magically had a vin and build date. I think they just changed an order that had not been assigned a vin yet, and gave it to me. There’s probably a lot of builds left like this. I got a nov 8th build date, which could obviously slide, but supposedly I get price protection so it may be worth it if the 2022 inflation prices hit. ??‍♂

Ranger redesign will be 2023, not 2022.

This was me.

Shopped midsized trucks early '20. Settled in on the Ranger but didn't bite. Then the Bronco dropped, got a res in on day 4 or 5. I was all in. Then the bullsit started.

Finally said fuck it, cancelled my res and bought a Ranger in December. Couldn't be happier. I've still got my Jeep for topless offroad shenanigans.

Do we know for sure....is there going to be a big push to get Rangers out of MAP (built)...before they ramp up Bronco production again? Thanks

I found one in SC (I'm in FL) that was on the line and ordered. It still took a month to get it in after that, but FORD sent me a rebate on top of the rebate being offered (dealer was kind of enough to claim that one as ADM) and gave me more money on my JAG that I had paid 7 months previously. Did I just say my JAG appreciated in value? I was in the same boat - 2 Bronco's on order and needed something to gap the wait. My guess is 2022 late or early 2023 at this rate. Glad I went this route as it appears now the Rangers are having production issues as well. If you can find something you want and get a good deal, I say push the button.

couple of us who recently received trucks that were ordered in mid to late June were delivered just under 80 days from order to delivery on dealers lot. But none of them were lariats, they were all xl or xlt's. apparently there is some electronic part the lariat's are waiting for.

as far as scheduling, final 2021 Ranger orders are due by 9/30 which means you would need to order from dealer in next couple days. They would be scheduled to be built weeks of last week of November, first week of December, plus mine was around 10 days in shipping from factory to central FL.
I think you can order a 2022 last week of September or first week of October.
