Hey all
I've got an issue on a 2017 DPF XLS ranger aus spec where my (bank 1 sensor 4) reads -40 degrees permanently I have changed the exhaust manifold sensor which I believe is sensor 4 with no difference. I have check the 5v supply to the sensor which is all good. When I unplug each of the other exhaust senors they drop off with OBD2 reader. Any help any advice you could give me would be awesome cheers in advance

Did you ever resolve this as I have egt14 -40° and can only find 3 Inc the egrt (exhaust gas recirculation valve temperature sensor) that reads really high but it's brand new 🤷🏻

I do not have access to the 3.2 (ROW) Ranger manuals

Are you getting a code for it (EGRT 14)?

What are the other 3 sensors (Voltage Readings)?

If not coding anything for EGRT 14, then you need to verify that the 3.2 actually has one installed.

I have a feeling you have been bitten by the (PID) only - I have an issue
You have to take into account that you are using a Aftermarket scan software and it may display PIDs you do not even have installed.
The software program thinks its installed and will display a (DEFAULT) parameter such as:
(-40 C) or (6.55v) as it does not know the exact parameter.

So you may only have 3 sensors not 4.

Start the truck and close all doors;
Perform a BCM & FCIM - Self Test (Reset) and see if the remaining codes clear

The BCM code is for (Passive Entry) Door Handle
The FCIM code - I do not see in the manuals so (?)
There are times when running self tests etc - The Truck must be in a normal configuration or when it runs a self-test it may trigger a false fault code as it cannot see the proper feedback from the self test results.

Plus, if you have had the truck using only battery power for a long period, the BCM may have load shed the RH door passive entry

Door code has gone , I turned passive entry off as I don't like it use it.

It's just the throttle cut/shudder/bucking or surg that's causing the issue and no code
