The rear segment of my BakFlip tri fold cover, closest to the tailgate doesn't seal tightly, It is securely latched, but I can lift it like 1/2 inch, so water and dust get in. Is there an adjustment or a way to tighten it so when it closes it sits tighter?

I have the MX4 model and do not have that issue. There is a tiny amount of play but nothing like you describe. I do not seem to get water in from there when running through the car wash for example, rather the lack of a sealed tailgate is where the water gets in. Driving on dusty trails at 20-30mph shows the same thing for dirt entering the bed, just a small amount from the trailgate and part of bed closest to cab not having sealed areas; not the bakflip mx4 portion itself.

Perhaps the railing is not pressed down all the way so that when you clamped it, it was slightly raised. I can see that being the culprit.

Here is a picture I had on file.

I don't own one, but is it possible that either the hinge is sprung or there is something in the hinge keeping it up?
