Sat down to do the bills and almost threw this away thinking it was junk mail.

Obviously that is just the body, covered up the header and my code with envelopes for the picture.

Registered with my code, we will see if I get selected.

Questionnaire asked which new truck I purchased, Tacoma or Ranger, and asked questions related to trim level and appointments. I assume they're gonna try and match those up with what people are driving.

I'm thinking I might get the chance to drive a new Frontier or hopefully a 6g for a few weeks!

Cross your fingers for me.

Sweet. When did you buy? I bought at the end of March, so I will be looking for similar letter. If I get one I will also go buy a lottery ticket.

First part of December. I've bought many new cars before, never seen this once.

Chances of being chosen to actually participate are slim, but here's to hoping.

I would be all over that like stink on a pig (assuming it's legit).
Yeah, I'm slightly skeptical. Initial survey didn't ask anything to be worried about though. Doesn't seem to be a fishing scam

Assuming that this is legitimate, it sounds like a great opportunity to explore one of the Ranger's "competitors" and a fun change of pace! Good luck! Keep us posted! Hey, what happens if you like the new truck better than your Ranger?

My initial thought for the evaluation vehicle is Maverick. The notice says "compact truck". I would think a 6th gen Ranger is more of a midsize. Be a fun experience irregardless.

In all seriousness I would sign up in a heartbeat. I hope you get a chance to drive something cool. If you’re allowed to under their terms let us know what you got.

I'm a long haul kinda guy. My truck isn't going anywhere for a while. However, it could give me something to think about when it is time to replace her.

Yeah, I figured the Maverick and Santa Fe might be an option. But with them seemingly targeting Taco and Ranger buyers my bet is Frontier.

Right!?

The presence or absence of an N.D.A. is something I'm on the lookout for if/when this goes further.

Yeah, sounds like a small truck, but is curious why they are targeting the taco and ranger. A PHEV ranger is on my radar, but not year one.

I think they are targeting Ranger and Tacoma drivers because there isn't a true compact pickup in the US market with owners to survey. Ford specifically because of brand loyalty and Tacoma because of the popularity. Just my two cents.

Makes sense. I had a pre-taco, and bought the ranger because of reviews, not really knowing how big it had grown. I love the size, not disappointed at all, but compared to the old taco it's huge. But, I want a 4x4, not an AWD unibody.

Definitely, get your point on the size and unibody vs. body on frame. The maverick doesn't interest me but to each his own. I am sure their people who are interested.
