I've always ended up with TruXedo covers. Like them.

The picture you are displaying is not a leer SR250 cover.![]()
The thing is getting close to the truck as possible to cover a majority and the other issue is the strip isn’t made to go into the side divots that is in the bed, you’ll need to either fill those or live with them.
see below the holes I’m talking about.

Yes to some degree that is true, this is sadly more then a leak. Bought new bulk head seal will wait for some rain sealed back up tighter also.I still stand behind my comment—they ALL leak!!
I don't have a Leer, but, on my Gator it wants the seal installed flush to the back of the bulkhead, meaning farthest away from the cab. I don't think you want it so close to the cab. But, yes, the seal looks too short.![]()

I did fill those gaps with the new bulkhead seal, also ran a seal under back of tonneau rail that sits across the tailgate![]()

Yeah i just Followed the YouTube guide from the company i bought It from and have had zero issues, maybe they’ve worked through the issues on a ton of customer complaints and just found this to be best solution. ?‍I don't have a Leer, but, on my Gator it wants the seal installed flush to the back of the bulkhead, meaning farthest away from the cab. I bought a bakflip foldable cover and couldn't be happierJust a heads up I bought a Leer Tonneau for the ranger, it was 250 shipped from leer so it was very reasonably priced. That being said, I would avoid buying this top or anything from Leer if you want a company that answer's emails or addresses problems. Bottom line is the bulk head seal is too short and allows quite a bit of water into the bed. I have emailed them several times and they never respond so you know you a sh*t out of luck if you need warranty work. That being said I have a Extang tonneau on the one ton and that company answers right up and sends out replacement parts fast. This was on me for trying to save some money but I thought I would just pass on the info. Yes I can correct the issue with more foam around the bulk head but the hey the company should acknowledge an issue with something they are selling.
I wish I would have joined this forum and seen this before I bought mine. I have the exact same issue. The rails are about 2" too short and won't allow the front and back to sit on TOP of the front bed wall and the rear tailgate simultaneously. Also there is NO seal at all on the rear, only a small piece of vinyl flap. I am returning mine but am anticipating an issue with the vendor and Amazon as he is being real cagey. This is the Leer SR250 if you try to move the cover more forward it will expose the back of the bed
