The housing is the complete unit. What I'm looking for is just the differential itself—a third member as I know it.

Hi Alan,
Rangers do not use bolt in 3rd members. Its a traditional axle housing in which the differential is serviced and removed from the housing by removing the differential cover.

If you are looking for the differential itself the # is KB3Z-4026-A , This is for the Locking Version.

Wanted to ask about how shipping charges are determined.. beyond the basics. Why do I ask? I went to your site to order a couple items... Total about $130 (~$65 each) for the parts... $75 for shipping... 5 foot long plastic part bed rail guards. Went to another Ford site and same price for the items, but shipping "only" $43... I ordered from them.

But given the great support Levittown Ford has shown the Ranger community, I'd rather give you the business, but not at such a premium.
