265 70r17 with 1" spacer on stock suspension.
I'm hoping I can do this with out rubbing. Not looking to remove my crash bars ( will adjust but not remove )
Is anyone running this configuration?
I cant make up my mind about a leveling kit or not so Im thinking I'll try this if it works. If any knows and has pics please share.

Pretty sure I read that this size is the max size without a lift, even without a spacer.
I’m sure you could find the thread.

With a 1 inch spacer you will rub. Without a spacer no rubbing will happen. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT use spacers

I've been digging through the forum for a while and cant find much of an answer to my question. I know that 265 70r17 is max size on stock suspension and with a lift even 1 inch will be fine with the spacers. I've also read of someone running a 1.25" spacer with stock suspension and 255/65 r17 tires with no problems. Im just not sure about adding the max tire and the 1 " spacers without any amount of lift. I really do not see how this could cause a rub but i have no experience with spacers. I just would really like the wider foot print. If i purchace them and they rub then Ill hafta level it.

When you turn the wheel in either direction you only have 1/4 inch until the tire rubs the crash bars so a 1 inch spacer will push the tire further into the crash bars.

Thats a good way of explaining it, makes perfect sense, crazy how as little as 1 inch lift helps it clear tho.

The lift is bigger than 1 inch amd even at stock height 265/70-17 tires will clear with no problems on factory wheels.
