To the OP i was wondering if you ever thought about just unplugging the 2 front sensors that interfere at the connectors on the sensors themselves at the bumper and keeping the 2 that are functional. that way you would still have functional sensors and rear sensors as well.

Hi Jay

I had the unfortunate experience of an alarm and disconnected the front sensors... Nope...Waring! The front electric connector behind the left front headlight was not seated...Once I figured this out, no problem... you run a risk of errors to just unplug a couple sensors.... This proposal is merely a band aid not a fix. Take it to the dealer for help. Do not accept anything than a fully functional system.

I did try that. It set off the parking aid alerts.

Just press the button in the console near the shifter located close to the same button for auto start stop. You shouldnt ever forget to do it thanks to the audible warning. I just turn mine off everytime via the button. Its not hard.

So I installed it, looked like the sensors would be clear.... But they are not. The front 2 sensors alert every time I go to drive..
I've looked in the display menu's settings and can't find an option to turn off the parking aid. Of course that's what it says in manual.
I'm open for ideas.

I thought about something like this and figured you could relocate those two sensors into the front of each side of the bar. Drilling a hole and plugging them in and then tapping into the wires going to the original sensors to hook up to those, but disconnecting the wires to the original sensors. Would love to see your feedback on this idea.

I just found this: Ford Legend Grille Guard Sensor Relocation Kit Maybe you can retrofit it into your grill guard https://www.ranchhand.com/2019-2020-fordranger-legendgrilleguardsensorrelocationkit-psf19mbp.html

I have that setup... its pretty slick! No issues at all now with the sensors.

That's just drop dead gorgeous! I like that. Did you install it yourself and would you mind if I ask you the cost for it? I had a price today of just under $900 + installation. They jacked the price of the relocation sensor kit up by $30 from what I saw posted on ranchhand.com and the bars sell for $725. If you installed, how easy on a scale of 1-5, 1 being able by girls and 5 by the very mechanical inclined? :)

I just bought a standard relocation kit and mounted that. You will have to drill a couple holes for the screws, but it works just fine. Not I am searching for a spare set of the cables for when I want to take off my guard to attach my plow. The bumper mounted sensors are a pain to get to.

You can install it yourself easily in about a hour. You remove your tow hooks and mount it there.

OK, I have an update.
Since I had purchased the auto start stop eliminator I got to thinking if they could do the same thing with the parking aid.... So I emailed them and explained the situation. Travis at Auto stop eliminator looked into it and made a modification to the connector. It's on its way to me. I will update when I get it installed.

Just FYI, if you go this route you will need to contact them directly.

I just keep my laptop plugged into the AC outlet and that does the trick. Or any other AC adapter for that matter.

Good morning, can you show photos of how you installed your sensor relocators? We are a Toyota dealer and we have a customer that has a 21 Ranger, had us install the Westin Sportsman grille and we need to relocate his parking sensors. Since we are not familiar with the Fords we are researching this issue and fix. We were looking at the ranch hand relocators and were trying to see if they would work with the Westin grille. Looking to the boards for suggestions and thanks to everyone.

Sure, I picked up a sensor relocation kit from Amazon. Around $50. I had to drill the mount holes in the guard but it took less than a hour

thanks for the photo, looks like the Westin kit that is sold for the Ram trucks. did all your wiring match up. I will attach the photo from amazon for the westin kit 40-0015s. BTW that grille guard really does look good on the Ranger.
