I finished the Synch update, read about the Nav update that has been offered. I downloaded it, installed it.
Don't forget that the Synch update does not include maps.

(Kind of a dumb question), but if I use my cell phone w/ the Waze app daily & rarely use the default Ford nav, should I still go through this process? Thanks.

Was the update over the air? Or did you have to do the usb download routine?

I used the USB for both. The Nav update was a bit more confusing as to "was it done". But they both worked out fairly well. I had to reinsert the USB to have the final Ford confirmation file download, as per forum help. The Nav upload popped up with a finish screen then continued to to upgrade. I wasn't sure I was done. On recheck, it seemed finished and fully installed. Nicely done, and Ford did not charge me extra. I hope this continues.

I did mine also. There were a couple of exits on a highway here in NJ that changed numbers and they were not in the update

That's exactly what my youngest son does.
I figure it's free, I might need it, and I really over bought this truck. I still like the go and stop peddles, and I seem to forget how to get to the tire pressure via the truck console. But, if I ever have to go through snow, drive over a mountain, need to drive through high water...I can. The Ranger is 2019, has 5k miles on it...and kids argue who gets it when I'm dead. It's worth the possibilities.
