Vents are under front seats for rear heat/air correct? No console vents, rather air ducts under seats?

Correct. No console vents, only the under seat ducts that are easily blocked by umbrellas. The dash vents, however, blow so much air that I direct all of it around me to the back seat.

Plus, the rear vents only are "floor" vents -- they don't supply air when only the dash vents are selected..

Cost cutting sacrifice I suspect. Much rather have true a/c vents back there.

It would be cool if someone crafty could figure how to re-route the under seat vents a little higher, maybe attaching something like a vent tube to it and moving the outlet higher in the rear....crazy thoughts. Hmmmmm.....

This was a common gripe about the Bronco as well. I don't get it. It's as though some people never rode in a vehicle with only dash vents.

I'm old, so I remember well. Center dash vents get pointed up and straight for rear seat passengers. Outside vents are for front passengers.

Besides, my kids ride in the back. They've made me uncomfortable for 15 years. They can stand it for a bit of a drive.
