I can confirm the KN1Z-19A361A will add the enhanced alarm features you are looking for. It has an adjustable shock sensor and all that. If you already have the remote start you just cut the wire jumper to delete that feature. It will even alert you on the Ford Pass app if there is was an intrusion attempt or vibration picked up.

Decent price on ebay:

What are the enhanced alarm features? I have a 302A package that included the alarm with perimeter alarm and Securilock Anti-Theft and also remote start.

Would the shock alarm sensor be already in the vehicle with these options?

99% of the time I lock my truck, but I must have forgotten to lock them last night and this morning going out to the truck I found my dome light on and all the stuff from my center console in the passengers seat. Luckily I do not keep anything of value i the truck and only lost my flashlight to the thief. I suspect it was the homeless in the area of my building not kids looking for random items as nothing was taken other an a flashlight.

I assume from reading that the factory perimeter alarm is only active if the doors are locked/activated by locking the doors. Would the shock impact alarm feature set off the alarm if a door is opened or an impact to the vehicle without the doors locked? Can this be enabled with already equipped factory alarm and remote start or does it require the above mentioned module?

I have had my Ranger for a little over a month and I have been trying to get the instructions online and I finally did tonight at about 7pm mt time.
The directions were, 1. lock the doors with fob, 2. 3 seconds push lock again and the horn will honk ; I have my horn deactivated with lock , so I tried again and clicked it twice ,the horn honked, I then went outside to see if any light was on and yes there was a amber lite on the lock buttons inside the Ranger to prove the alarm was armed at least I believe that is the prove.
I have had Rams that a red light lit up in the instrument panel when security was armed.
Just my humble thoughts on arming the 2019 Ranger xlt super crew 4x4, still don't know how well it works according to KJBeggs doesn't work very well as He experienced attempted break-ins twice and He is the Man with the knowledge first hand.

So, if I lock the ranger by the FOB...and the horn sounds...I should see a light glow on the arm rests? I'll try it...

This adds a shock sensor to the standard theft deterrent. It also has the capability of adding remote start if not equipped.

My apologies for replying a year later, but yes. It will add remote start, as well as a shock sensor alarm.
So I have the perimeter alarm, but not remote start with the fey fob.... with the part listed above, I can add remote start?

I'll have to look. To cold out now. But that's nice...another feature of "hell no...I didn't read the manual". That's the wife's job.

The amber lock button LEDs that he mentioned have no relation to the alarm system that I can find in the manual, they light up when you lock the doors to indicate they are locked, either with the fob or pushing the lock button, they turn off after a bit.

I'll keep looking. To cold and wet to go outside now. If I find anything...I'll note it here.
