Yeah, give it another 25 days and see what starts then....:lipssealed:
You're probably right. I think things could turn pretty ugly if they (you know who I'm talking about) try to do what they're planning. :bandit:

November Gun-Buying Activity Shatters Records, Highest Percent Increase In Over Two Decades

Last month was the busiest November on record for FBI background checks in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, according to the Bureau’s month-by-month data. Background checks were up 40% from the prior November, with over 3.6 million checks performed throughout the month.
The year 2020 is on pace to have the second-highest percentage increase in the history of the National Instant Criminal Background Check System:

I'm debating going back to a CZ P-09.

While I love the full steel Jericho, wearing it on your hip for extended period of time is like carrying around a brick.

And I really wish I could convince my agency to to ditch the Glock. I for the life of me just cannot shoot those damn things as well as hammer fired guns. The IWI Masada was OK - but I despise Glocks.

1911's are OK, but low capacity makes no sense now a days just for nostalgic reasons. While I could fully service a 1911 down to the bare frame, the sheer amount of bits and pieces and moving parts (especially when they introduced the 80 series with the firing pin block) is just not needed.

I do admit I have been eye balling a RIA double stack 9mm Ultra Tac - I just cant get past the old tech involved in the things. The CZ DWX may be a nice happy medium between though, but $$$

My old one circa 2015 (still have the evo-9). This time around I'll do the RMR.

P-09 and P-10F are both solid. If you like the Jericho, there is a polymer framed version of it that is nearly 11 ounces lighter. The DWX should be solid once they become available enough to actually handle one....the guys here at CZ/DW haven’t seen more than a couple I believe.

The IWI Masada is a solid little pistol, especially if you’re wanting an optics ready pistol.

Luckily, I shoot a Glock about 75-80% as well as I shoot my 2011’s and my carry options for winter have been a Glock 19 with a Krytos Ti slide and a Glock 17 with a Krytos Ti slide.

The whole allure of the Jericho is the original all steel workhorse. Coupled with a modern CZ-75 magazine from Mec Gar and you have a 19+1 low recoil puncher.

Polymer version is out of the question to me, hence the switch back to the P-09 which was designed around being plastic. lol

That and Jericho holster options even after all these years are still garbage. Orpaz is one company, and if you use a WML the Blackhawk Omnivore is about all you can do.

Building another model 1896 Swedish Mauser (6.5X55mm, 1899 Oberndorf), with a laminated stock & a little metal work to make it a bit nicer. Will be blued & have a scope...

I have a 7.5" AR9 (on the way) that I will be designating as a truck gun. Has a polymer lower for less weight. The upper is on it's way and should be here next week. The lower hasn't shipped yet. Got an Olight from my SIL for Christmas that I am putting on it when it comes in.
