Not sure about this. Captcha is software to differentiate human interaction and computer generated interaction. Is this relative to these forums??

Are you on a phone or tablet? Maybe it's security software for these devices because there's non on my Mac laptop.

We've recently implemented some additional security to prevent spam, so that may be causing a few false-positive captchas.

A few questions if you could help answer:

• How many times have you been asked to complete a captcha?
• If more than once, how often?
• Are you using a VPN?

I use an android tablet.

I think I've had to do it every time I've been on surfing for more than a few minutes. I don't think it's ever done it when I first open the forum.

No VPN.

Not a problem at all. Security is a good thingl

I have had to complete a captcha twice in the past few days, once on my iPad, and once on my desktop Mac.

I am not using a VPN.

Not sure why this is necessary for a logged-in registered user, but web security is not my area of expertise.
