If you could get that 60' time down another tenth, you'd be damn close to running in the 12s. Is your Ranger 2wd or 4wd? I'd think locking it in 4wd would work great since it would just hook up and shoot out of the hole.
I’m trying to get the 60’ down for sure. I’m feeling it somewhat nose over after half track so I think I’m choking out air flow on the big end....I’m going to try something and see what happens...

So almost was defeated with some horrible passes tonight and then I said...let’s try to figure out what is slowing me down. I’ve been working with a few prototype pieces and one of them I believe was choking it down a lot...by removing one shield I figured out what was costing me a full second. So now that I’m back down in the low 13’s I have some small tweaking to do. I really believe a better intake and/or better flow into the shitty air box will put me into the 12’s. Keep in mind it was 90 degrees and humid as can be tonight. Launching started at 2k and ended about 2500 rpms and that’s about all I think I can get without spinning. Truck felt so nice on the last run...it’s gonna get there very soon!!!

You inspired me to see what my stock 2019 Ranger Supercab XL 2wd would do. After several runs, as it was my first time legally drag racing, I ran head to head against a 2019 Camaro SS.
Now it's time to mod up!

Hell yeah!!! Seeing what I gained the most with and I would recommend first was drop in filter, exhaust, and tune. The BOV and AFE pipes I'm sure help at this power level, but not a necessity. I'm working on some intake box mods that hopefully will show some cheap quick performance gains as well. I do have a downpipe on my truck as well that does open it up a good bit....however is louder more than I really want. Good luck!!!

Are you running a catted or catless downpipe?

Resonator? Trying to gauge loudness when you say it was a bit louder than you want.
No resonator as of now. I plan to add a 24" hi flow one after I get that 12.9x pass. It is honestly not that bad as it is. I drive a lot of miles so sometimes I just would rather silence...lol...
