Recently purchased this 2019 low miles Magnetic Sport. Previous owner had the full Weathertech treatment I guess, with hood, floor and all 4 windows. Really liked the low profile laser fit hood deflector. And the smoke color really blends in nicely to the magnetic paint.

It looks good but that one is only attached to the hood with 3M tape. Not sure how i feel about that. Especially during the summer time.

I agree...I'm not a big fan of taping anything to anything... aside from my ventshade on the windows cause I couldnt find in channel ones at the time... but here in Canada we can have 25-30 degree swings in a day...plus ya know... the snow and ice. I couldnt see it lasting too long

I put the Textured Black AVS II on my Magnetic Ranger and I am liking it very much. The textured finish pretty much matches the splash guards and bed rails finish and I prefer a solid mounting vs. the type that secures to the underside of the hood and vibrates while driving. It is secured with 3M Automotive adhesive tape, which is not going anywhere unless you purposely intend to remove it using a heat gun.

I preferred the texted look since I installed the Raptor grille. I painted the grille and the lower splash shields with black texted paint. I didn't care for the silver look on the front with everything else being black. Just my preference but not everyone.

I live in Maryland and its been over 90 degrees and with the humidity around 100. 3M automotive tape is good stuff but you have to prep the service that its going to ahere to right. If you do it won't bulge

It's already been on through 1 summer at over 100 and in another. Still tight as can be. I'm 64 and have used these good 3M tapes before. If properly cleaned and prepped when applied, not going anywhere.
