I've been looking for stainless door edge guards made specifically for the Ranger doors. Had some for my 2005 GMC Sierra and 2002 Escape, but I can't seem to find them any longer. Anybody ever seen such?

I want to see finished product, I've already got some bare paint chips in the lip of the hood.
Ill try and get some photos tomorrow, I plan on re-doing the hood because there are some spots that I over worked on the edges, along with some water bubbles that I couldn’t get out and had to pop with a needle. I didn’t stretch the material enough when I first applied it so there was a lot of fingering I had to deal with on the edges later. It’s an excellent film though. And if you want a strip to protect the front from chips you can get smaller sections of it pretty cheap. My whole roll was about 600 bucks.

Any advice for putting it in? Mine comes in a few weeks!
When you start to take the tabs off of your OEM grill. If one does not come off go to the next and come back to it. Sometimes it will make it easier when you get a few more tabs off. Took about an hour

..and my old 2004 Ranger- RIP, less than 6 months and the kid who bought it wrapped it around a tree, <90k miles on it :(

Anxious to hear your results on the wax. I keep looking at it everytime I'm in walmart. I wanted to try chem guys "ceramic" stuff, but it's a little steep at $40. This might be a good replacement. And sorry to hear about the old ride, that's terrible.

Put a very small, about 1/4 inch dent on the edge of my driver's side door. I opened the door too wide and hit it on the doorknob of the door going from my garage in to the house. It didn't chip the paint and it is hard to see, but now that I know it is there I'll see it every time.

My additions thus far:
1. Replaced headlights (low and high beam) and fog lights with LEDs. (Factory halogens are awful.)
2. Put in BedRug padded bed liner.
3. Added TrueXedo TruXport soft roll-up tonneau cover
4. Added new padded/rubber inserts to all cup holders, door liners.
5. Put in change tray in center console.
6. Put on Falken Wildpeak A/T tires. (Original tires are for sale if you want them.)
7. Added custom hitch receiver cover with receiver lock. (Pictured)
8. Put on vinyl Ranger letter inserts on both tailgate and front grille.
9. Replaced A-pillar tweeter to Infinity tweeter. (Still not quite happy with stereo, though.)
10. Added hydraulic strut to dampen tailgate.
11. Installed Auto Ventshade low profile hoodflector to keep rocks off my hood.
12. Added black tip exhaust.

It fills in the factory sound lower end nicely.

This KSC-SW11 sub has been in 3 different vehicles and always works well.

It doesn't provide the "thump" that a lot of people want from a sub, it just enhances the soundscape.

There are several reviews of it on Youtube where you can get an idea of how it sounds.
I've been wondering what I can do to fill in the sound system on mine. I replaced the tweeters in the A-pillars to Infinities and that helped to crispen up the highs some, but the rest of the spectrum is pretty dull. Talked with a couple of stereo shops and they said if I replace the door speakers, it will lose even more low end because the factory door speaker have a decent amount of low end. Not a lot of room to add a sub.
