I'm sure it's covered somewhere but I get sleepy reading 1000 posts trying to find quick answers. Is this the COMPLETE Redarc kit needed for trailer brakes?

That does look like the full kit to me. It has the ECU for the center brake light, the redarc controller, and the knob.

The install is massively complicated if you're uncomfortable with pulling trim pieces off though.

I did a rear camera install as part of my dashcam setup. It's nearly the same amount of work to do it right (removing all those pieces) and will def add a couple of hours to what was a normally simple controller install. I bought the normal redarc well before Ford finally pulled their head out of their ass and admitted that they never properly considered a brake controller for the rangers with ADD/EB systems. I'd love to find JUST the addon module and harness since I already paid ~$300 for the controller part...

*sigh*

The ADD/EB systems are standard in all trim levels I believe. It's something they brag about on the brochures ("Best in class standard safety features"), and then they can't even do it right.

I had my brake controller "Teknosha P3" wired up in 10 minutes in March of 2019. So I drove the truck several hundred towing miles without incident in an "unsafe" condition.

They should be providing the kit, and or the labor to install it for free for those of us who bought the truck before they admitted it was a thing.

Here's these four wires for a brake controller, please don't use them, and you can only use our really expensive kit that's installed in the dash so you can't move it to another tow rig...

Total dick move.

I figured it was only the systems with the ACC that also had the pre-collision. My bad.

I think it's because the international versions didn't have the issue so they just phoned it in on this one. Not realizing until later.

Srsly? If you're going to post that, after the correct answer was already given, why don't you also post the reason?
I'm old but thinking "Srsly" means seriously? My deepest apologizes. My attempt was to generate some discussion on the subject. I also stand corrected in my answer. As you said the correct answer was already given by you. I thought there might be other options to what the OP asked.
So sorry.

My question was aimed at complete, meaning is this everything needed for Ranger braking. I see the controller for sale cheaper in other places but they don't appear to have all the components this one has. My Ford parts guy was a little surprised at the expense of it but said they haven't installed a controller on a Ranger yet. He said this kit costs more than the entire job (parts & labor) for other Ford and Chevy trucks they have done.

It's definitely the complete kit. Self install should be pretty easy, it will just take an afternoon (and make sure you get trim removal tools).
