With Ford discontinuing the OEM trailer brake controller kit for the 5g rangers I'm trying to piece out the Redarc parts that were part of the OEM kit. Does anyone have the Redarc parts numbers for the kit?

I've looked at Redarc's website but frankly it's not a great site and I can't seem to nail down the exact parts needed. Appreciate any insight folks can offer.

It was my understanding when the news first broke that the Lumen Module was manufactured for Ford specifically and only available via the (KIT) and when the contract between Ford & Lumen expired, it was not renewed, plus note Lumen is now Motherson - Lumen (2024) this merger might have something to do with it - More $$$ and Ford declined - would be my guess

I also did a quick search for the Lumen Module (separate) with zero findings, so if it is available it will take some digging.

Ugh that sucks about the Lumen module. If true that means I can have trailer brakes but they won't activate with any active or automated braking and will only apply when I press the brake.

Not a deal breaker but considering this was Ford's engineering mistake you'd think they would extend the contract for longer. (Based on reading it seems not adding the necessary wiring to support active braking was an oversight on Ford's part)

If it's no longer sold there isn't much that can be done. On the plus side, the installation just got a lot easier.
