Nice job on the descend. Going downhill always made my butt pucker just a bit more. You came close to needing rock sliders to prevent you going against the walls. The flex and disconnects on the Jeep really help but the Ranger did well considering it didn't have the same setup.

Sliders would be great, seen people slip right into those walls before. I just took it slow and let the tires do their job.

Found the limits of my tires and 4WD system this weekend. Wayne National Forest - Marietta Unit

Here's me noping out of a trail that was pretty out of my league. The mud-rut terrain mode saved me here. Need better tires and eventually a winch. But honestly, a lot of these trails are for small mud running Jeeps and are just leftover gas well and logging access roads.

Knowing when not to proceed is pretty important, especially since you appeared to be running solo. Those trails needed a little chainsaw love.

Yeah, a BUNCH of bad storms recently so everything was still wet and a lot of washouts on the roads nearby.

Stock. So very stock. Little rockscaping from some friends to not bottom out. Did surprisingly well hanging with the Jeeps. Hankooks aren't great on rocks, apparently good in snow. Might have to get me some bigger rubber for summer once the lift comes in. Nice being able to fold the mirrors in though! ?
