Got my Putco lower grille in yesterday, as well as the #4 SS mesh. Spent some time fitting everything together and viola' !! I used fake 3M UHB tape (red backing plastic) and just smashed it into the foam tape....and it's backed up with some 80 lb braided line in a few places, in case the fake tape fails.

I can’t vouch for the adhesive, but I’m sure I will know after a year in the AZ sun if they are of quality. They were super easy to put on straight just by eyeballing it. They have lots of color combos, but I have decided to embrace the chrome.

MK842766...Looks great, I'm planning to do this. I did the front, it was easy cause I bought a Lariat grill to replace the XLT so I had lots of time to do the paint, many coats, and clear coat. I'm hesitant on the tailgate cause it will be off a while. I'm retired too so things take as long as I want! Couple questions, how hard to get off without breaking anything, and how long was it off while you did the paint! And did you do the large chrome oval housing the backup cam? I can't tell from the pic...Maybe there's a thread on this mod...Thanks...Painted my tailgate emblem...

I ordered custom decals for the side. The decal says "SPORT 4X4" in gray. Im having them reprinted in Bronze to match my wheels.
