Tailgate damper and mud guards came in from the dealer. They still can't figure out how to charge them against rewards so they gave em to me and said we'll figure it out later. Installed in less than an hour, pretty straight forward. Took me longer to find a t50 torx. Put an order in with Discount Tire for wheels and tires. Level kit comes today, alignment scheduled for Friday. I gotta get back to the office so I stop spending so much money!

Got a nice rock chip in my windshield on the way to work the other day thanks to a concrete pumping truck dropping rocks and chunks of crap all over the highway.

arent they liable for the damage?
Yes and no and depends. Which is cheaper, insurance company fixing/replacing it or going after a company and proving fault. But, maybe. Same logic when your credit card information is stolen and used. It's not right, but it's reality. JMHO

In this case, yes they are liable for the damage. This is mostly due to the fact that I have dash cameras that record constantly, so I can prove their truck did this to mine. The highway patrol officer said that the driver of the truck is responsible for making sure it is clean, but since they only get a $20 fine in a case like this, none of them care and never take the time to clean. The company manager was a little snotty toward me until I told him that I have dash camera footage of this happening. His tone took a complete 180 really fast after that. Morals of the story: 1. get a dash cam and 2. hold these construction companies liable for making a mess of the roads and damaging your vehicle!

Good for you. In my former life I loathed telling good people it's your word against theirs. In your case that manager probably weekly told other victims they couldn't prove it's his company's fault. Good for you ?.

Is that stick-on or do they use screws? I've been trying to decide witch on I like and really like that look on the gloss black.

This version is stick on and its not going anywhere. They give you the 3m promoter solution to make sure it sticks. Getting it off will be a process. Wd-40 and a fishing line will be necessary.

I didnt like the way the screw on ones have a gap and stick off the truck.

Really only spent some money on the gray one. FX4 front shocks and springs, a pair of rear leaf springs and a few other suspension bits. Things ARE going to change under it!!

But for fun, dropped in a JB4 under the hood.
